As we all know today (4th July) is Independence Day in America, possibly the biggest and most celebrated of American holidays. But for those of us in the UK who think of Independence Day as a Will Smith film what have we got to celebrate????

Well it's come to our attention that July in the UK is National Picnic Month.

Now that the we can say it's T-Shirts & Shorts weather as it seems the Sun has decided it may stick around for a little while, what's better than sitting out in the fresh air with your nearest and dearest for a little alfresco dining? A few nibbles perhaps a glass of something cold (as we all know keeping hydrayted is essential!!) and enjoying being alive.

We also currently have Wimbledon in progress so turn your TV to face the garden make yourself some strawberries & cream and a jug of Pimms and sit outside while watching Britain's finest see if they can get past the first weekend!! (This is assuming Andy Murray won't be playing in the singles this year) otherwise 'Come on Andy'.

But whatever your preference make sure you make the most of the Sun and the people in your life that really matter.
